Yes! I checked each wire on the wire harnes. Volt meter went to zero on connuity test. The only place I have not checked is from the point of connection, to switch connection on the ground. What puzzels me is when power is turned on I have 12 volts at ground wire? This would tell me that the bulbs are shorting out. Am I right?

It maybe a faulty ground, that black wire. You can test a ground, testlite connected to battery voltage, touch the terminal for the black wire. If the ground is good, the lite comes on. Ithink I posted the wrong diagram before, sorry about that. The brown wire for voltage and black for ground still applies.

I just got back to this today. This is what I did. I took a black wire, ran it up under the ground connection on the wire harnes and touched it to the body of car. You wouldn't beleive it, but I have lights. Now can I leave it this way or do I need to go back to the negative side of the battery with a fuse link?
