My son has a 96 Plymouth neon and it has died a week ago. We thought it had a bad connection to the battery so we bought new terminals there is a new battery in the car as well. The car will jump start in neutral as soon as you put it into gear it dies so no picture of car. The car is a 2 door. The car is my son's and It starts with a jump start in neutral. When put into gear it dies will not stay running will not stay started by popping the clutch either.

The first thing I would check is the fuel pressure using an accurate gauge. Post the reading and we can go from there.

Without testing there is no way to have any idea what the problem is. We can guide you through testing but we don't have a crystal ball.
