Oldsmobile Cutlass Push rod Problem

If the brake fluid leaks from where the master cylinder bolts up to the power brake booster. does that mean you have to replace both master cylinder and power brake booster. I told master cylinder off and the push rod seal from the master cylinder came off.

You need to replace the master cylinder. Clean up the booster the best you can.

I'm looking for a master cylinder online. But I don't know what part I need. On on my car master cylinder it also has a big black box. would I just need to buy the part where the brake reservoir bolts up to?

You only need a master cylinder, but if you can upload a picture for me to see, I can tell you what the "black box" is.

That part deals with the ABS. You should be able to remove it and reuse it.
