Wondering why every time it rains my sucurity acts up and the car will runs 4 two seconds and shuts off

What could be getting wet to cause it do do this? Pulling my hair out over this, every time it rains, if I put car cover over car to keep from rain draining in under wind shield its fine.

Is there any water leaking into the inside of the car?

I just learned that there is a "relearning" process of the security system that must be done when the theft deterrent is disrupted -- it is to turn the car on and let it die. Be sure the battery is fully charged- leave the key on dont turn it off -- wait at least 10 minutes (book says 10 mins) and crank it. Do not turn off the ignition before you crank it. It worked for my 98 achieva I was very surprised as I had been pullin my hair out. Bill.
