Trying to find out about a drop resistor
I have a 96 nissan maxima and it shift hard into second gear someone told me it can be the drop resistor but i dont no where thats located

i would forget about that and have the trans checked by a shop. there is so much else that needs to be correct before you go in that direction.
it could be throttle pressure, governor or something internal.
