1996 Mitsubishi Magna Repair Question

Mitsubishi Magna Spark Problem
Abut 2 weeks ago i tried starting my magna but some reason it wouldnt start, it had half a tank of fuel and it was winding over but it sounded like it couldnt spark so i had a look under the hood and i saw an external spark when it was trying to spark i think it is the starter motor but im not sure. is this the problem if so how can i replace the starter?

If it is cranking, the starter is good.
