Mazda Protege Transmission Problem
Ok so my driver side cv joint went out... I go to change it and half of the cb joint is stuck in the side of the transmission wall.. how do i know if I messed up the housing unit or how do I get it off??

Don't plan on re-using that shaft now. You were supposed to use a large prybar to "pop" it loose from the transmission and not just pull on the shaft.

A slide hammer with the correct extension might be required under certain circumstances. If you wish to reuse the half-shaft, you would need to have it inspected for damage and serviced with boot replacement and lubricants.
