My Honda Accord 1996 VTi 2.2l with automatic transmission had overheating problem. I can not find any leaks in the cooling system. recently I had the automatic transmission replaced due to clutch issue and soon after that the fans started to run by itself even after the car is turned off. I am not sure it has anything to do with the automatic transmission. I do not know how to check coolant level. some one advised me that it could be Thermostat issue. Please advice.

yes it can be a thermostat issue there is a coolant reservoir under hood it should havea coule of hoses going to it with a marking for it. if you have your owners manual it will show it's position thee. But have a pro check this for a head/intake gasket leak. It could be a minor issue but it can also be a radiator.
