Honda Accord Coolant Problem
The car showed no signs of over heating. but today the resevior cap made a bang of a noise and came off and coolant was eveywhere under the hood. is it the water pump or thermostat. and does the timming belt ect,, have to be replaced. and is the engine going to be ok?

The pressure cap may not have been fitted correctly , i would replace and ensure that it is locked down and test drive to see if cooling system in working correctly first.
