My barina has been overheating for the best part of a year, the thermostat has been removed completely the fan switch has been replaced and coolant leaks so much that it has to be topped up daily, I have been running water through the coolant system instead for months now. The cross flow of air from driving has always been enough to keep the temp gauge under half most of the time but definitely under 100 all the time. Yesterday after a short drive I parked and the engine near the front right headlight was steaming and sounded like a kettle boiling, I drove home another 20 mins and got home and it was the same. My partner said it may have blown a hose? I'm not sure what do you think?
