I replaced the starter in my yukon. I was able to start it four times, then I drove it home (11 km home) I parked it for the night and when I left for work today it would not start. It made no clicking noise when I engaged the key, but the vehicle had power. While hooked up to a battry charger it still would not start, any ideas?

You have to be sure the battery has a full charge. If the battery is down, get it charged, first. If the battery keeps draining, you have to find out why. Check charging system, check excess battery drain, everything off. Check all battery connections, If that checks out, check starter wiring. Usually two voltage wires, one is battery voltage, hot all the time. The other circuit goes hot with key in the crank position. Any testing at the starter, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and the parking brake is set. Check starter ground, also.

Are you sure the starter is good? Your saying the starter won't crank, correct?
