The truck listed above is a 1500. Started up fine, parked it in the driveway, came out the next morning and wouldn't start. Replaced the ignition coil and control module. Checked the fuel pressure and it went up to 60 PSI, I've had the fuel pump and fuel filter replaced about 3 years ago. Came out the next day and it started fine, ran for about 3 days with no starting problem, next morning, no start. I've had the distributer cap and rotor replaced about 4 years ago. Changed the plugs about 2 years ago. Can't figure it out, any suggestions?

When the engine will crank but not start then we need to find out if we have spark, fuel, and compression. If the engine was running the day before then we can assume the compression is fine.

Here is a guide that talks about this in more detail:

Since you have 60 PSI in fuel pressure, then we need to confirm you have spark.

I understand that you had different components replaced a few years ago but that doesn't mean they have not failed.

So, we need to find out if we have spark by pulling a plug wire and holding it against the block using a screwdriver as your bridge to the ground.

You should see a blue spark that snaps pretty well. If it is yellow, then we have a weak spark.

However, let's start with this and go from there.

Thanks
