REAR WASHER

The front and rear washer nozzles are fed by a single washer reservoir and pump located on the driver's side frame rail in the engine compartment.

Remove the driver's inner splash shield in the engine compartment.
Label and disconnect the electrical harness.

The washer reservoir will drain when the washer hose is disconnected.

Disconnect the washer hose and plug the nipple in the washer reservoir.
Remove the washer reservoir from the vehicle.
Remove the washer motor from the reservoir.

To install:

Install the washer motor on the reservoir.
Install the washer reservoir in the vehicle and tighten the attaching bolts securely.
Connect the washer hose.
Connect the electrical harness.
Install the driver's inner splash shield.

REAR WIPER MOTOR

Remove the rear wiper pivot arm.
Remove the liftgate interior trim panel.
Label and disconnect the electrical harness.

Pull on the connector only and not on the wires. Pulling on the wires may cause internal damage that may not be apparent to the eye.

Remove the wiper motor retaining screws.
Lift off the wiper motor from the liftgate.

To install:

Position the wiper motor on the liftgate.
Install the wiper motor retaining screws and tighten to 20-29 ft. Lbs. (30-40 Nm).
Connect the electrical harness.
Install the liftgate interior trim panel.
Install the rear wiper pivot arm.
