1996 Ford Taurus Just Replaced Thermostat On 96 M Getting Heat Cold Air Sure

I just replaced a thermostat on a 96 Ford Taurus and I'm not getting any heat, just cold air. Not sure if its the water pump, or if it could be any thing "big" like that. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Loren.
