1996 Ford Taurus car wont start

Drives fine for a while and then all the gages on the dash quits working and then the ac stops working and the radio stops working the headlighs and every thing quits there is a clicking sound it dies driving down the road and then it wont start back up?

SNATCH BATTERY--HAVE IT TESTED AT A POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORE---USUALLY THIS IS A FREE SERVICE

IF IT IS "GOOD" AND NEEDS RECHARGING----SUSPECT THE ALTERNATOR IS NOT CHARGING THE BATTERY----THIS COULD BE A DEFECTIVE ALTERNATOR OR POSSIBLY A BLOWN FUSE/ FUSIBLE LINK

EVEN LOOSE BATTERY CONNECTIONS MAY CAUSE A SITUATION LIKE YOURS
