i have a 96 taurus i installed a reman ecm and when you hook up scan tool found out that it got flashed to a flex fuel and it has a fault code for a air valve that it doesnt have and it runs very ruff, as far as it know they never had flex fuel in 1996 i just installed new heads because it bent #4 intake valve. cam is ok have 159 psi compression it runs very ruff new coil,plugs,wires, crank sensor, i have timing cover off now
