yes i have a 1996 f250 pickup 4x4 with a v8/460 in it right now but needs a nother one asap.. i found a 1992 f250 v8/460

you will have to swap everything over from your motor to the donor motor.

swap what over??? i cant just take the motor straight out of the 92 and hook it up in the 96?

no. the 92 is obd 1 controlled and your 96 is ab obd 2 controlled. thats why you need to transfer over all components
