Ford Explorer Door Problem
Door ajar light stays on but all doors are shut. the inside lights will not turn off after the car is turned off. they stay on all night and it is running my battery down. please, can anyone tell me what to do

you need to pop the door panel of each door and disconnect the latch switch to find the bad one.

in other words take the door panels off all doors. They should just pop off correct? where would the latch switch be? I'm sorry, I am a woman and I guess you could say I need it spelled out for me. ha ha.
Would the door ajar makes the lights on the inside stay on? If not, can you give me an idea what
I can do to get them to go off?

i stand corrected. it should have a separate switch on the door post between the door. it should unscrew or op out. disconnect the wire and see if the light goes out
