Dodge Ram Engine Problem

Ok i start my truck up and it idle's funny i have to keep alittle pressure on the gas to keep it from stalling. then when i put it into drive or reverse it shakes then shuts off . i think it may be the fuel pump.

How did you come up with the fuel pump if the engine runs? Was the battery recently disconnected or run dead? If it was, the Engine Computer has to relearn "minimum throttle" before it will know when to be in control of idle speed. Drive at highway speed with the engine warmed up, then coast for at least seven seconds without touching the pedals.
