I JUST GOT DONE BUYING A NEW IAC SENSOR FOR MY INTREPID AND IN THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT CAME WITH IT, I REMEMBER IT SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT RE-ADJUSTING THE PINDLE. WELL I THINK I MIGHT HAVE MESSED UP THE ADJUSTMENT. I HAD IT IDLING PERFECT AND I DROVE IT ABOUT 5 MILES INTO TOWN, AND NOW IT'S IDLING HIGH AGAIN. BUT I DID GET A CODE OF P0340. WOULD THIS CAUSE IT TO IDLE FAST? AND WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THE PINDLE WITHOUT HAVING TO SPEND ANOTHER $70.00? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TIME...

P0340 will cause it to hard start,no start, rough and misfiring. Check for vacuum leak, recheck the IACV and also you can adjust for minimum air that's all you can do-NOTE: the idle speed is controlled by the computer. Could also need time to relearn the idle speed
