1996 Daewoo Cielo Repair Question

My 1996 daewoo cielo gives out black smoke from the exhaust.
I got 2 obd trouble codes 13 and 44.
Both point to oxygen sensor.
could it be bad.
how do i find out and how can i remove it to check.

removing it will tell you nothing.
a shop with a scan tool can monitor the voltage too see if the sensor is bad or something else causing the motor to run very rich.
