I have a 96 chrysler cirrus that won't start when it rains. Its okay if I drive it and it pours for a hour or two or it's justing misting, but if there is a steady rain for a long time it won't start. It has a new distributor cap (it was broken a few months ago and we replaced it) so I was wondering what could be causing it and how to fix it?

Your saying it cranks good but won't start, when the problem occurs? Have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, then we check something else.

Can you check applicable trouble codes? Anything?
