My truck only starts if I spray starting fluid in it and once it's running;i'm good until I let the truck sit for more than an hour, then I have to spray it again to get it started. WHY IS THAT?

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge if its within specs. If okay test fuel pump relay and fuel pump and oil pressure sending unit-

Your fuel pressure is way too low-specs calls for 60-66psi, try replacing the fuel filter and see if it makes a different if not replace the fuel pump
