96 chevy z71 wont shift into 4 high or 4 low why?

yes i do. you hear it engauge but wont catch. need it fixed.

First, make sure you are getting 12+ volts to it. IF you are, remove the actuator and check it for operation. If all is good there, check the actuator on the front differential to make sure the axle is locking it too.
