Backfiring through exhaust

Have changed timing chain, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, set timing, have taking battery cable off to drain computer. No help at all and the mass air flow was replaced

Either the timing is off or you have a burnt exhaust valve. Check engine compression to see if there is a weak cylinder.

Thanks, timing is good. This didnt start until after we changed plugs, it was running fine just time to change them.

You need to check the firing order of the plug wires to the cap.
