Chevrolet Lumina Thermostat Problem
How do I replace the thermostat on my 1996 Chevy lumina

This is for 3.1L engine. The radiator hose goes to thermostat housing in the picture. You may need to drain coolant down. If you just pull off the radiator hose, coolant will run everywhere. Then, at the thermostat housing, remove radiator hose, remove bolts from thermostat housing.
