Wont shift from 1st to 2nd unless you let off the gas at about 24mph then it shifts fine

Wont shift from passing gear back up to drive

There is a throttle valve cable adjustment you can try that might help with the kickdown function of the transmission. I am giving you the instructions and the FIG14 referred to in the instructions.
If that does not work you may have an internal kickdown bad that needs adjsutment or you have a bad shift solenoid.
The first thing to do is get the trouble codes pulled. Any Advance Auto or Auto Zone will do this for free.
Then try adjusting the slack in the TV cable and then inspect all linkages for smooth operation and any loose movement that might affect shifts.
