Chevy blazer 96yr, coolant is squirting up from slightly behind alternator. What could be the cause? And is there a quick fix for a regular guy?

I had used stop leak for coolant systems and it worked for about 3 months. But it doen't seem to be doing anything now, and I was going to try headgasket and intake coolant stop leak but was afraid of doing more harm than good.

sealers harm the system. do not use them at all.

there is a heater hose fitting behind the alt that rots out. common failure.

the other thing is the intake gasket. another common failure.
