Were is CAM censor u7nder hood.

Hi Howard here hope your have a good DAY. Now my brother have a 1996 Cadillac deville that wont start and thank its the cam censor but we cant find it. Were do I look for it? Please help thank YOU.

It is at the front of the cylinder head that is closest to the firewall. Nestled down in between the RH strut tower, by the heater pipes. The only electrical connection on the front of a cylinder head, three wire. Usually these do not cause a no start, more likely a long crank time, as they are only used for synchronization. If the signal is missing, the PCM will eventually substitute. I would start with basics like fuel pressure, and spark.
