I have a toyota corolla 95 4AGE Levin zilver top 20 valve when I give gas the engine begin to fail by 4000RPM and doesn't go over 4000RPM. What could it be?

It culd be anything from a faulty TPS to engine computer. Check if any trouble codes are present.
