Toyota Corolla Brake light switch Problem
Why are my brake lights going out when i put the car in gear causing my gear shift to not go in gear?

Power to the park lock solenoid comes from the brake light switch. It is located at the top of the brake pedal under the dash. Check to see if the switch is loose, electrical connections are clean and tight.
