My car has not been started for awhile, and we have put in new battery and new gas, cleaned fuel filter, it cranks but acts like it is not getting gas. We have put gas in the area where you can revive the engine, and it acts like it will fire up but it is not getting gas even though we have cleaned the fuel filter, and put in new gas. Not sure if it is the fuel pump especially since I put a new one in before we stopped using the car awhile ago. Do you think it is the fuel pump? or something else easier to get to first to check? It is is the fuel pump, how do you get to it since I thought it was in the tank? Please help!!

The pump is in the tank. You need to check to see if there is fuel pressure to the engine. On our homepage under the DIY section, you will find directions and a video showing how to check fuel pressure. That is where I would start.
