I am having great difficulty shifting gears. I added trans fluid and was good for only about 2-3days. It is leaking so quickly that I can't see/notice from where. Plus, of course, I am only a novice. With this particular vehicle is there a likey source for the leak ?? help please ..

The three most likely sources are the leak and right axle seals and the quill bearing/input shaft seal which is in the clutch/bell housing behind your throw out bearing. So what are is it coming from? Also is it hard to shift into every gear or just certain gears?

It is hardest to shift up/down in 1st and 2nd gear. 3rd is not as difficult, and 4-5 gears are somewhat easier still. When I start the car first thing in the morning is the hardest. Of course, after it has warmed up a bit, is when it is a bit (not much) easier.

When you press down the clutch pedal is it hard all the way down?Or does it drop some and then get hard?
