Why are my brakes locking up

Front brakes lock up as soon as you touch the pedal and wont move until i cracked the bleeder open (wich had a lot of pressure)but as soon as i put my foot on the pedal to start it its locked up again..

Do you have anti-lock brakes? If not, crack open the steel lines at the master cylinder. If the fluid releases from there, suspect it's contaminated with petroleum product.
