Pontiac Grand Prix Exhaust Problem
My car is doing almost a chugging/stalling action right about when the car wants to downshift. (It has been doing it more frequently over a series of a few days, it used to be just when i went up hill or excellerated fairly quickly, but now it is when I go up small hills as well.) It also quickly moves to hot and the the temp light comes on, the temp gauge will go back down, but then go back up again and this repeats.
So far I've had the coolent flushed, a new thermostat put in, had the system burped. After that was done the next day the water pump busted, so I had that replaced, and then had it burped again because the chugging was still happening.
There is no white smoke coming out of my exhaust and my oil is only about a month old.
HELP!!!
