95 pontiac firebird 3.8 liter new battery wen i turn ignition to start nothing happens is my switch bad ir us it a starter problem

it cold be a relay, starter , neutral safety switch or ignition switch or fuse. there is a fusible link at power dist box underhood it is rust and connects to a red wire. If tht is burnt that will cause you problem
