If you have a hose that goes from the overflow bottle to radiator, take it loose from radiator, aim into container, reservoir cap removed, does it run out? If so it isn't clogged. You might take the reservoir out and clean it? As the engine warms up, the coolant level should rise in reservoir.

I don't think the reservoir is causing your overheating issue? Is the radiator itself, full of coolant? If you have a radiator cap, remove it, on a cool engine. Is the radiator full?

If you want to remove reservoir, fine, Find mounting screws/bolts remove, remove reservoir from engine compartment. I'll see if I can find a picture? Do you have a boyfriend or husband, that can help you? As far as removing bolt/screw, you have to use your own initiative. I can't see it from here.

The hose from the reservoir to radiator, take it loose, aim it down, does coolant flow. If it does, the reservoir isn't clogged. Can you blow air through the reservoir hose into the reservoir? It's best not to get antifreeze in your mouth, maybe you use an airpump of some kind?

In order to remove reservoir, to clean it out, I'd have to look at it. I have no picture.

Replace radiator cap, just in case. It doesn't cost much.

It is possible that a leak in the cooling system could have an effect on the siphon from the reservoir.
