I have a 95 aurora - the battery and alternator have been tested and found to be good. My battery, however keep going dead. I believe I may have a short somewhere in the car. What is the proper way to search for a short, or is there something else I should be looking at.

You need to check for a draw by putting an ampmeter in line with the negative cable. It should no more than 300 milli amps of draw.

Measure this first

The path is through the meter and the fuse box. Remove 1 fuse at a time till the draw goes away. Then you found the circuit.
