Nissan Maxima Engine Problem
By 1995 nissian maxima cutsof while running. One of the hoses to the engine is rotten away could that be the problem air getting into the engine.

I doubt the hose is the problem. It should, however, be replaced. Have you checked to make sure the fuel pressure is within the manufacturer's specs?

I talk to and auto guy. He said it could be the hose because it sucking up air and that can cause the car to cut off because of the air intake.
