AC won't come on 1995 Villager

1995 villager. I push the button to turn the AC on but it does not light up and the compressor doesn't start running. Any Ideas?

That would be the result pretty much no matter what the problem was. You will need to get it diagnosed by a professional starting with taking high and low pressure reading and determine if it has sufficient refrigerant to activate the compressor.
