Mercedes Benz E220 Spark Problem
Hi
I have a merc E220 automatic, sometimes when driving the car starts loosing power (missfires). I then move the gear in to neutral while the car is in motion switch the ignition off and starts it again and then move it in to drive. The problem then dissapear and the power is back. It does that every now and again. It is realy frustrating and i am desperate. Please help?

start with basics like plugs, wires/coils. how long since it has been serviced???

Thank you for your input.
Yesterday ive replaced the spark plugs.
This morning, i drove to work and it was running beautifull without a problem.
The radio some times just go of station and then you have to reset it again, this morning it was fine. I do not know if the spark plugs may be the cause of that as well.
