charging system not working

I have a 6 cyl 4 litre 1995 jeep grand cherokee laredo with 174k miles the car runs great but just dies when idyling with radio, A/C, lights, on at night, I put new fuel filter, IAC module, coil pack, new battery, any suggestions? Jeep dies when idlying when lights, radio, a/c on at night.

Start with a load test on the charging system. Sounds like you have one bad diode. "Ripple" will be very high and the most output you'll get with a bad diode is one third of its rated capacity. That means you'll only be able to get 25 - 30 amps from the common 90 amp alternator.
