At the OD switch, use a jumper across the Orange and Black terminals and if the lights comes on, the switch is bad.

Check fuse # 21 (15A) in fuse block. It controls the switch illumination.

If light does not turn on and OD does not work, the transmission control module and its wiring has to be checked.

The light is already on signifying that the OD is off. When I try to push it, it doesn't turn off and doesn't go into OD. Where is the transmission control module located, please. Thank you

TCM is located behind left side of dash.

What is the transmission code for your vehicle? There are a few models and some are not equipped with TCM. Instead it is incorporated into the engine computer ( PCM)
