1995 Honda Prelude Wanted Which Driving Rpms Would Jump 65 70 Mph

I wanted to know the issue of which when Im driving my rpms would jump at 65-70 mph: rpms would be 3000-3200.....if i were to drive pass 70mph it seem like it died: rpm would be at zero and the car would still be driving or rolling but slowing down. Pressing on the gas or anything would work. Yet the car would like start back up speraticaly to be driving normal when the car slows to 60mph.
