Car will not start, no crank. Pump primes starter sounds like its not clicking

Tried boosting thinking dead battery, but that failed. Sounds like starter to me but would like some one with more car knoweldge then me to get some advice from.

You sound correct. Try hitting it with a hammer while someone tries to start it.

Further investigation, there is no sound at all not even a click. Still priming but thats it. When I was starting it up earlier that day it was starting a little rough, being from Canada I thought maybe it was cold it was snowing -2 C out. I am not to firmiliar with hondas to know.

The little wire on the starter should be 12 volts when the switch is in the start position.
