HONDA CIVIC DISTRIBUTOR PROBLEM

1995 Honda Civic • 160,000 miles

Below distributor, there looks to be a oil pressure sending unit and a smaller unit next to it that is leaking oil. Do you what this smaller unit would be. I plan to replace it to fix my oil leak. Thx

One is the temperature gauge sending unit and the other is the engine coolant temperature sensor and both have nothing to do with the oil leakage. The distributor O ring and rotor shaft seals are the ones leaking if the valve cover is not.
If you remove the distributor cap and if oil is present, that would be th shaft seal. If it is dry, replacing the distributor O'ring would solve the problem.
