HI MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON

THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON I TOOK IT TO A SHOP AND THEY SAID THE COMPUTER WAS NOT READING THE CODES AND THEY HAD TO GET ANOTHER MACHINE TO CHECK IT I GO BACK ON MONDAY HELP

go to another shop. you have an obd 1 system. in the right lower kick panel, you jump one connector with a paper clip and watch the flashes on the check engine light to see the code.

THANKS BUT HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT'S THE CODE CAN I DO IT MYSELF IF NOT DO YOU SUGGEST ANY CAR CARE CENTERS

you need a book that will identify the code and the system that has a failure. i suggest a shop familiar with these repairs.

on the right side of the dash 5to the right of the glove box there will be a 2 wire connecter. jump them together turn the key on and the engine light will flash 2 diget codes. send them to me and i lill assist .
