I have a 1995 sonoma (2.2l) the timing chain broke, replaced it. Then a few months later, tensioner broke & the valves in the head warped. Replaced all of that plus put new camshaft & oil pump in. Now it sounds like the chain is hitting the cover again. What could cause this & how can I finally fix it. Im getting very frustrated with it.(Its my work truck & is good on gas mileage so I would like it to last as long as possible)thanks for reply!

Unless it has come loose the only thingthat I coluld think of is that the shoe broke off the new tensioner ot a bolt loose holding cam. You really need to isolate the noise on it to make sure it's in that area.
