Problem with your reply/solution. Wiper motor is not accessible under the cowl on a 1995 G-Van. Appears to be inside of the firewall. Need advice on how to access it for removal when its apparently under or behind the dash.

WIPER MOTOR
NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove wiper motor to remove circuit board
and terminal assembly.

Removal

1. Ensure wipers are in park position. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove wiper arms from wiper linkage. Remove cowl panel cover. Remove drive rod from wiper motor crank arm. Loosen nuts holding drive rod to wiper motor and remove drive rod. Disconnect wiring to motor.

2. Remove radio. Remove left defroster outlet from flex hose and position hose to one side. Remove screw securing left heater duct to engine cover shroud and slip heater duct down and out. Remove screws securing wiper motor to firewall. Remove wiper motor.

Installation
To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure wipers are in park position before installing. Lubricate wiper motor crank arm pivot prior to installation. Assemble transmission to crank arm past second detent so that seal is compressed to a maximum height of 1" (25 mm).
