My truck starts but dies immediately. I replaced the fuel filter and made sure there is gas in it. I hooked an OBD II up to it and no codes come up. I can hear the fuel pump working. Any ideas?

i left work for lunch put gas in my truck went back to work. came out of work approx 30 mins later and truck starts but dies immediately. I replaced fuel filter and that did not help. I hooked an OBD II to the vehicle and no codes came back.

Are you able to keep it running by hitting the throttle? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?

IT must be getting spark. Therefore, we need to check fuel pressure. It isn't hard, but you will need a fuel pressure gauge. Most parts stores will lend them to you. When you get it, go to our homepage under the DIY section for detailed directions plus a video to show you how to check it. Let me know what you find.
